For more than 25 years, Linda Shiner & Associates (LS&A) has been increasing the efficiency and profitability of design firms. While working for an architecture firm, Linda noticed the struggle to organize and update the firm's library of products. She invented a system to present information in a logical, accessible format and to provide continuity in the acquisition of resources.

Armed with a sound idea and great business sense, Linda founded LS&A, a company that simplifies design libraries and enables designers to quickly zero in on the products and resources relevant to the specific requirements of any project.

The concept was aimed at establishing a personalized research service to:

  • support designers, architects, and engineers;
  • increase a firm's efficiency and productivity;
  • provide a bridge between the resources industry and architecture/design firms;
  • eliminate the need for dedicated library staff and provide continuity and ongoing efficiency.
